Ernest Lynwood Bragg, Jr. was the 2nd of 8 children of Ernest Lynwood Bragg (1860-1931) and Annie Jane West (1863-1950).
He entered Maine Insane Asylum (later Augusta Mental Health Institute which closed in 2004) around 1905 at which time he was one of about 1000 patients, his 1918 World War I registration card labels him as 'insane'. Ernest Jr. would spend his entire life at the hospital until his death in 1973.
I've so far not been able to find an obituary for Ernest Jr.
