Clyde Raymond Harris, 74, Henderson, relative of Tyler residents, were to be held at 2 p.m. today in the Crawford-A. Crim Funeral Home chapel, Henderson, with the Rev. Irvin Middlebusher and Rex Houston officiating. Burial was to be in Lakewood Memorial Park. Mr. Harris died Sunday night in a Henderson hospital after a lengthy illness. He was born July 16, 1911, in Minden. He lived in Rusk County almost all his life. He was a retired paint contractor and was a member of First Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Edith Harris, Henderson; a son, David Harris, Henderson; four daughters, Mrs. Shirley Hunt and Sarah Harris, both of Henderson, Ava Phillips, Whitehouse, and Nancy Harris, Los Angeles, Calif.; four stepdaughters, Mrs. Vera McClung and Mrs. LaWanda Vandiver, both of Tyler, Mrs. Edwina Whitten, Henderson, and Mrs. Linda Gibbs, Memphis, Tenn.; a brother, Bud Harris, Henderson; a sister, Mrs. Russell Haskins, Henderson; 13 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
