April Dawn (Eldridge) Davis, 21, of Indianapolis, died March 14, 2001, at her residence in that city.
The daughter of Kevin Eldridge and of Brazil and Kathy (Frazier) Gentry of Indianapolis, she was born April 28, 1979, in Oak Harbor, Wash.
Mrs. Davis attended Franklin, Indianapolis and Brownsburg High schools. She was employed by Wal-mart Distribution Center in Greencastle.
She enjoyed singing, writing poetry, gardening and helping others. A book of her poetry is scheduled to be published.
Surviving besides her parents are a son, Joseph Benjamin Davis of Mooresville; two brothers, Kevin Eldridge Jr. and James Dale Gentry Jr., both of Indianapolis; two half brothers, Christopher and Patrick Eldridge, both of Brazil; two half sisters, Trinity and Lorien Eldridge, both of Brazil; grandparents, William Eldridge of Martinsville, Donna F. Eldridge of Franklin and Darrell and Elnora Frazier of Whiteland; a great-grandmother, Sarah Cowan of Newburgh; and a stepmother, Anna Eldridge of Brazil.
The service will be 1 o'clock today at Jessen Funeral Home in Whiteland. Burial will be at Lickspring Cemetery in Nineveh.
