BISSON Mrs. Mary Ellen Bisson, aged 73, 629 Glasgow Avenue, died suddenly of a heart attack at 2:35 am at St. Joseph's Hospital [located downtown Fort Wayne, Indiana, which is no longer there as the building was torn down in 2023/2024].

She had been taken to the hospital Thursday morning for treatment for a throat infection. Her condition was believed not to be serious until she was stricken a few minutes before her death. Her husband, Martin E. Bisson, died at St. Joseph's Hospital March 26.

Mrs. Bisson was born in Wells County [Indiana] and had lived in Fort Wayne [Indiana] 40 years.

She was a member of Calvary U. R. Church. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Donald Tierney, of this city, two sisters, Mrs. Charles [Minnie S.] Snarr and Miss Ida McCague, both of Ossian [Wells County, Indiana] and seven grandchildren. The body will be removed to the home Saturday from Schone's Sons Funeral Parlors.
