Crocker resident Edith Crum, died Monday evening, Nov 19, 1990, at Porter Memorial Hospital. She was 70.
Born May 18, 1920 in Danville, Illinois, she was the daughter of James A. and Laura (Mathews) Coan. On July 2, 1937 in Shadyside, she married Victor Crum, who survives.
She is also survived by son Richard (wife Barbara) of Liberty Twp.,; sister Lily Weaver of Milwaukee; three grandchildren Colleen Weltzin ( husband Roger) of Liberty Township, Connie Dille (husband Greg) of Westville, Paul Crum of Liberty Township; and five great-grandchildren.
She was a Chesterton resident since 1925, moving here from Danville.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Edmonds & Evans Funeral Home, 517 Broadway, Chesterton, with the Rev. Donald Slack officiating. Burial will be in Chesterton Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 4 to 8 p.m..
