Mrs. Durham was a former resident of Santa Ana, Calif., and Muncie. She as born April 14, 1926, in Lawrence County, Tenn., the beloved daughter of Effie (Ray) and Sylvester Staggs.
She is survived by three stepsons, Larry Durham (wife-Helen) of Springport, Jerry Durham (wife-Carolyn) of Kokomo, and Mark Durham (wife-Becky) of Nashville, Tenn.; two stepdaughters, Lola Brown (husband-Glenn) of Kokomo and Mary Lee (husband-Ronnie) of Greentown; 10 stepgrandchildren; 18 step-great-grandchildren; three brothers, Otis Staggs of Yorktown, Oscar Staggs of Phoenix, Ariz., and Melvin Staggs of Nashville, Tenn.; two sisters, Betty Long and Connie Cozart, both of Lawrenceburg, Tenn.; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Paul Durham; her parents; two brothers, Jim and Gene; and two sisters, Mary and Myra.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. today at the Parson Mortuary, with Pastor Ken Durham officiating. Burial will be in Gardens of Memory. Friends may call 11 a.m. until time of services at the Parson Mortuary.
