BURLINGTON - Pauline Lorraine Brisson died suddenly at her home Wednesday, June 9, 2010, following a period of declining health.
Born in Colchester on Nov. 16, 1936, she was the daughter of Arthur and Isabelle (Devino) Boissy.
Pauline attended St. Louis Convent Elementary School and Winooski High School. She married Donald Brisson in 1954. Prior to being a homemaker, Pauline was employed in the finance office at Sears and Roebuck. She worked in the Health Care Center at Mount St. Mary Convent, Green Mountain Nursing Home and in various capacities at local motels. She enjoyed reading, cheering on the New England Patriots, the challenge of crossword puzzles and most of all being with family at outings and holidays.
Pauline is survived by her daughters, sons, and their spouses: Diane Reardon of Rutland, Kathleen and Mark Nelson of Colchester, Laurie Brisson of Burlington, Bryan and Barb Brisson of Huntington, Randy and Alison Brisson of Strafford, N.H.
She is also survived by her sister, Sister Claire Boissy of the Sisters of Mercy of Burlington. Her grandchildren include Brett and Jessica Nelson, Tamara, Eric and James Reardon and Amber Brisson.
Pauline was predeceased by her parents; her son, Gary; her husband; her twin brother, Paul; and her brother, Clayton.
A Graveside Service will be held at Resurrection Park in South Burlington on Thursday, June 17, 2010 at 3 p.m. Come celebrate her life.
Funeral arrangements are under the care of Stephen Gregory & Sons Cremation Services.
