Margaret Louise Seitz was born in her parent's home on East Mechanic Street in Wapakoneta. She was the last of 6 children and the only girl. She graduated from Blume High School in 1933, and entered Miami Valley Hospital School of Nursing in Dayton, Ohio in 1938. Margaret graduated in 1941 and returned to Wapakoneta where she worked in a doctor's office. In 1942 she moved to California and married a former high school classmate, Wilford Henry Abraham, in Santa Monica on April 23, 1942. They lived in an apartment at first, and in 1943 they bought a home on Ashland Avenue. She had 2 children; John and Robert.
Margaret belonged to the Order of the Eastern Star and was an active member of the Mt. Olive Lutheran Church in Santa Monica. In 1992 they celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary.
Wilford died in 2002, they had been married for 60 years. Margaret died in a Santa Monica hospital from cancer at the age of 94. She was survived by her 2 children, 3 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.
