SPRINGFIELD - The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Jan. 2, at Buell Funeral Chapel in Springfield for Helen Grace Regier of Springfield, who died Dec. 23 of age-related causes. She was 95. A graveside service will follow at 2 p.m. at Springfield Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home.
She was born July 28, 1913, in Moorhead, Minn., to Olle and Alice Sanford Arre. She married Louie Regier on July 19, 1982 in Springfield.
Survivors include three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Her husband died in 1996 and two daughters, Arlene Johns and Carol Holt, and three sons {SIC: they were brothers}, Arthur Arre, Edmund Arre and Oscar Arre, died previously.
