Mack was a retired employee of the E. C. Minter Coal Co. at Wyco, but had retired 10 years ago and had lived in Athens since that time.

Born in 1883 at Princeton, he was twice married and his first wife, Dimotha Jane Snider Blankenship, preceded him in death several years ago. His second marriage 16 Dec 1936 to Mrs. Betty Keatley Riddle.

Other survivors include three sons, William, of New Jersey, and Ray of Detroit, Mich., Jerry of Athens, West Virginia; three daughters, Mrs. Oweda Miller and Mrs.Bea Alvis, all of Athens, and Mrs. Norman Thomason, of Princeton; four step-daughters, Mrs. Elaine Riddle Francis, of Charlton Heights, Mrs. June Riddle Patteson, Narrows, Va., Mrs. Naomi Riddle Shumate, Pearisburg, Va., and Mrs. Marie Riddle Hypes, Pineville; two step-sons, Rufus H. and James K. Riddle, of Toledo, Ohio.
