J.H. AUGHTMAN SUCCUMBS FRIDAY
Funeral Held From Harmony Church With Rev. Floyd Officiating.
Mr. J.H. Aughtman, aged 67, died at his home on route 3, Friday afternoon. He had been in ill health for several months and members of his family were apprehensive for some time because of his weakened condition. The family found the body in the front room of his home.
Mr. Aughtman is survived by his wife and two daughters; Mrs. Maud Justice, Columbus, Ga. and Mrs. Dell Stewart, Andalusia, route 3; three sons, Morris, route 1, and Virgil and L.J. of Andalusia, route 2.
Benson and Company were in charge of the services.
