****IN LOVING MEMORY****

Memorials in care of her family, Circle of Life Hospice, or the American Cancer Society.

Ruth was born June 1, 1945 on the family farm near Oakley to Leo and Darlene Evans Klages. She graduated from Chariton High School in 1963. On July 25, 1970 she was married to Jerry Adcock. They enjoyed being together for nearly 40 years.

Ruth did many things through out her life, working as a restaurant manager in her early years and currently as a real estate associate broker with her husband. She was a longtime member of the Eagles Club, the Za-Ga-Zig Auxiliary, and the Presbyterian Church.

Ruth will always be remembered for her love and loyalty to her family. She was a sweetheart and wonderful person to all those who knew her. Ruth was concerned for others and would always look out for those she loved. She liked to go camping, and she enjoyed cooking and baking. Her nieces and nephews had a very special place in her heart and were treated like they were her own children. She loved most of all spending time with her loving husband.

Ruth passed away May 26, 2010. She will be missed by her husband Jerry Adcock; sister Laura (Carl) Shivvers of Chariton; mother-in-law Ida Adcock of Chariton; step-son Vincent (Missy) Poush of Chariton; sister-in-law Judy Adcock of Madison, SD; aunts: Mona Evans and Audrey Knust; and many special nieces, nephews, and cousins. Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, Leo and Darlene Klages; siblings: Constance Boothe, Bill Klages, and Don Klages; and brother-in-law Richard Adcock.
