Paul E. Enfinger, who worked tirelessly to improve life for the deaf, died Monday of heart failure, his family said. He was 60. Enfinger, who became deaf at age 3 as a result of illness, was one of the original members of the Deaf Environmental Awareness Force, formed in the 1970's to create awareness of the problems faced by deaf people in Dade County.
