In 1835, he with his father's family, came to Ohio, where he spent the remainder of his long and useful life. At the death of his father, he took the responsibilities of the family upon his shoulders, and tried to fill his father's place. When yet a young man he united with the Congregational Church in Plymouth, and remained a faithful Christian to the close of life.
He leaves to mourn his loss one brother, James BeVier, and one sister, Cornelia BeVier, besides a large number of relatives and friends. He lived a long and useful life, and has left this life to enjoy an eternity of happiness. His funeral was held Monday afternoon at his home, conducted by Rev. R.H.
