14th St., died Wednesday in Ball
Hospital. He was born in Farm-
land but had lived in Muncie
most of his life. He was a re-
tired employee of Delaware
Trucking Co. and was a member
of Teamsters Local 135.
He is survived by his wife,
Sharlet E.; three daughters,
Mrs. Alice B. Flanary, Cypress,
Calif.; Mrs. Mary Hester, Norfolk,
Va.; and Mrs. Phyllis Vannater,
Manhatten Beach, Calif.;
a son, Phillip, Visalia, Calif.; six
step-daughters, Mrs. Richard
Stiffler, Tampa, Fla., Mrs. Mellville
Cole, Orlando, Fla., Mrs.
Robert Shaw, Mrs. Donald
Hobbs, Mrs. Charles Conn and
Mrs. Earl Smith, all of Muncie;
a stepson, Herbert Davis, Muncie;
two brothers, Charles H.,
Losantville, and Paul Earl, Muncie;
18 grandchildren and 12
step-grandchildren.
Friends may call at Parson
Mortuary from 10:30 a.m. to 9
p.m. Friday and before services
there at 10 a.m. Saturday. Rev.
Cornell Johnson will officiate.
Burial will be in Saunders
Cemetery, Daleville.
