William Granville Papaw Bill Hagan, 81, died unexpectedly Thursday March 22, 2007, at his home.
A native and lifelong resident of Buncombe County, he was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and a member of Sunrise Baptist Church.
He was the husband of the late Gertha E. Hagan.
Surviving are his son, Tony Edwards and wife, Donna, of Asheville, and his little buddy, his grandson, Aaron Edwards.
The graveside service will be held at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, with the Rev. Bill Higgins officiating.
The family will receive friends at Anders-Rice Funeral Home.
