She was born July 26, 1883, a daughter of John and Maria Key at Black Hawk, Colo. She moved to New Castle from Seattle, Wash., in 1933. She lived at 310S. 15th St. before her illness.
Mrs. Abbott was a 50-year member of Eastern Star Southgate Chapter 109; a former member of Riley Service Club, and a member of the First Christian Church.
She was the widow of Homer LaBoyteaux Abbott who died in 1964.
Surviving are two sons, Harold G. Wills of New Castle and Homer J. Abbott, Indianapolis; four grandchildren; seven great grandchildren, and two step-grandchildren.
Cremation to follow services.
