Mrs. Minnie Merriwether, wife of David Merriwether, died on the night of the 20th at the family residence near Galena, Greenville township. Her disease was consumption and she leaves her husband the care of one child. Mrs. Merriwether was an excellent Christian woman, a devoted wife and mother, and had the affection of all her neighbors and many friends.
