Bonnie Lou Umberhocker, 71, of Mayport, passed away Wednesday, March 13, 2013, at Audubon Villa in Lititz.

She was born Nov. 23, 1941, in Mayport, Redbank Township, Armstrong County, the daughter of the late Clarence E. and Leona B. (Coleman) Bish Sr.

She was married May 20, 1961, to Richard L. Umberhocker, the love of her life, who preceded her in death July 13, 2005.

Bonnie worked at Tom's Riverside in New Bethlehem before her retirement in 2007. She enjoyed spending time with her family along with gardening, baking, and spoiling her granddaughters.

Surviving are two sons, Richard B. Umberhocker, wife Ann, and daughters Kaylee and Ashlyn of Austin, Texas; and Eric L. Umberhocker, wife Jennifer, and daughter Julia of Millersville.

Also surviving are three brothers, John Bish and his wife, Nancy, of Shannondale, Tim Bish and his wife, Peggy, of Mayport and Gerald Bish of Arkansas; and three sisters, Joyce Shankel and her husband, Jack, of Mt. Vernon, Ohio, Bernice Snyder of Niagara Falls, N.Y. and Delores Gahagen and her husband, Clark, of North Tonawanda, N.Y.

In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Umberhocker was preceded in death by her sister, Betty Gruver; and by brothers Myron Bish, Clarence Bish Jr, and Darrel Bish.

Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the Alcorn Funeral Home, Hawthorn.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the funeral home with Pastor Ben Shindledecker officiating.

Burial will take place in Hawthorn Cemetery
