David Levi Huskey, 44, died Friday, May 7, 2010.
A native of Buncombe County, he was a son of Jimmy and Mae Flynn Huskey of Asheville. He worked in construction.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Huskey is survived by a sister, Toni Huskey; brothers, Pappy, John-O, and Josh Huskey; nieces and nephews, Mandi Black, Briana Prather, Chris Huskey, Jesse Reid, Joshua Huskey, Jesse Huskey and he was like a special, loving father to Delane King and Haley Pettit.
Graveside services are scheduled for 10:00 am Wednesday at Middle Fork Cemetery in Gerton with the Revs. Ed Worley and Robert Harris officiating.
His family will receive friends from 7:00-8:30 pm Tuesday at Groce Funeral Home on Patton Avenue.
