"Mrs. Effie Dell Strange, wife of Ninevah Strange, road construction worker, well known in Orange county, died at 10 a. m. yesterday at her home. Death was attributed to heart trouble.
She was born on March 5, 1886, in Stampers Creek Township to Frank and Sally Warren. She is survived by the husband, two sons, Clifford Strange of Orleans, and Olin Strange of Mitchell; a brother Valley Warren of Paoli; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p. m. Friday at the Stampers Creek Church with the Rev. Ray Jones officiating. Burial will be in the Stampers Creek Cemetery.
The Ellis Funeral Home of Paoli is in charge of funeral arrangements, and the body will lie in state at the Strange home where friends may call after 9 a. m. Thursday."
