Madie Chastain Motes, age 80, of Winston, GA, passed away on Sunday, December 10, 2006.

She was born in Bartow County, May 2, 1926, to the late George Dewey Chastain and the late Margaret Delia Hightower Chastain. She was preceded by her two brothers, Roy Chastain and Cicero Chastain. Mrs. Motes worked for Sears as an order puller. She was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy in Douglasville.

Survivors include her daughter & son-in-law, Sybil & Ronnie Craig, Douglasville, GA; son & daughter-in-law, Travis & Earlene Motes, Winston, GA; sisters, Joyce Shead, Dallas, GA and Ella Presley, Ballground, GA; grandchildren, Randy Craig, Jason Craig and April & Ashley Robbins; great-grandchildren, Amber, Cody, Macy & Audrey Craig.

Funeral services will be held from Hightower's Memorial Chapel, on Wednesday, December 13, 2006, at 1:00 p.m., with Reverend Rob Hutto officiating. Interment will follow in Sunrise Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 2:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Hightower's Memorial Chapel, Douglasville, GA, is in charge of the arrangements
