PHILIP ALLEN
"Philip J. Allen, 83, of 111 Holy Ave., Sanford died Saturday. He was born in Enterprise and came to Sanford 60 years ago. He was a retired trainman with the Atlantic Coastline Railroad. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, the Masons, the Order of the Eastern Star and Brotherhood of Railroad Trainmen.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Kathryne Wyman of Sanford, and Mrs. Phyllis A. Shaffer, Columbus Ohio; a sister, Mrs. Robert Cole, Sanford; five grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
Brisson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements."
