Husband of Aline Satterfield Wilkinson who died 07 Jan 2007.

Lived most of his life in Stephens Couty, Georgia. Graduated from Stephens County High School in 1943 and received a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture from the University of Georgia in 1946 and a Masters in Education from the University of Georgia in 1961.

Served as a vocational agriculture teacher, elementary school teacher and principal, and Superintendent of Schools in Stephens County. Also served as member and chairman, Georgia Committee Commission on Secondary Schools, Southern Associatin of Colleges and Schools (SACS). Retired from his position as a principal in the Habersham County School System after many years of service.

Member of Tates Creek Baptist Church for 63 yeas where he served as a Trustee of the church, Chairman of Deacons, former music director, Adult Sunday School Class teacher for 50 years and church treasurer until his death. Served as Chairman of the Building Committee whn the new church was constructed in 1974.

Active in the community serving as Toccoa Little League President, Member and Chairman of the Stephens County Hospital Suthority, a fifty year member an Past Master of Toccoa Masonic Lodge #309, and was recognized by the Georgia House of Representatives and the State Senate with resolutions acknowledging his vital role in the education system of Georgia and his contributions in the community.

A devoted and faithful husband, an obedient son, a loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather.

Two daughters and two sons., eight grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren.
