William E. "Moose" Macy, 59, of Lafayette, died at 11:14 a.m. Saturday, April 24, 2010, at St. Elizabeth East.
He was born on April 23, 1951 in Lafayette to Betty J. Russell Macy and the late Dale Macy. He married Sharon Day Grimes on March 10, 1984 in Lafayette, and she survives.
Also surviving are a daughter, Kasey Williams (husband: Todd), a sister, Jean Macy, and a brother, Dennis Macy (wife: Rita), all of Lafayette; 2 grandchildren, Mallery and Macy Williams and a nephew, Evan Macy; 2 grandchildren; and a nephew.
Mr. Macy worked in the heat treatment department at Caterpillar for 25 years and had been working at Galema's Greenhouse in West Lafayette. He enjoyed fishing in his boat, hunting, mushroom hunting, golf and his dogs.
