A. Hope Shelton Acie, 67, of Martinsburg, WV; died Monday at her home.
Mr. Acie, born in Harpers Ferry, WV; was the daughter of the late Benjamin Franklin Shelton, Jr. and Anna Lewis Shelton, and the widow of Eugen Acie.

She was a retired shift leader with South Side Group Home in Martinsburg, WV; and a member and served on the Usher Board of St. John's Baptist Church in Shepherdstown, WV.

She is survived by three daughters, Debra Cole, Theresa Acie and Eugenia Bullett and husband Edward all of Martinsburg, WV; two granddaughters, Tiffany Cole and Kiana Bullett both of Martinsburg, WV; two sisters, Rev. Carole Shelton of White Plains, MD; and Gaye Shelton Jackson and husband William of Waldorf, MD; four brothers, Dale Shelton, Sr. and Thomas Shelton both of Harpers Ferry, WV; Wayne Shelton of Martinsburg, WV; and Harry Shelton and wife Yvonne of Nashville, TN; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family received friends 7-9pm, Thursday, January 4, 2007 at the Eackles-Spencer & Norton Funeral Home, US 340 at Halltown Road, Charles Town/Harpers Ferry, WV.

The funeral services were held 2pm, Friday, January 5, 2007 at St. John's Baptist Church in Shepherdstown, WV; with the Rev. Cornell Herbert officiating.

Burial was made in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Harpers Ferry, WV.
