Born at Montmorence, June 30, 1899, Beulah was a life resident of Tippecaoe County and was married in Lafayette, October 21, 1920, to Charles Wallace Mikels who died in 1941. Mr. Mikels formerly operated a store and service station on Indiana 43, north of the city.
Mrs. Mikels formerly was a cook in the Purdue Union cafeteria for 15 years before her retirement in 1961. She was a member of Liberty Chapel E.U.B. Church.
Surviving are two sons, Dale of Lafayette and Charles,Jr., of Dillsboro; a daughter Mary Catherine Gunn of Lafayette; a brother Laban J. Coppock of Rt. 1, Mulberry, and four sisters, Mrs. Avah Batta of Otterbein, Mrs. Clyde Davis of Roachdale, Mrs. C.V. Shelburn of Peru and Mrs. Fred Foley of Detroit.
