Black Mountain-Michael Todd Allen, 46, passed away Saturday, April 3, 2010 with his family by his side.
A native of Buncombe County, he was the son of Jerry and Patti Allen. Michael worked as a machinist at Arvin Meritor until his health started to falter. He was very proud of his job and of how well he had become a top Machinist. Michael loved his truck, his dogs and football. He was a country boy in life that loved to hunt and fish as time permitted. Mr. Allen loved his wife, daughter and son greatly.
He is survived by his wife Fran Allen, son Michael Jerry Allen, daughter Meghan Taylor (Matt) mother Pat Allison and a sister Susan Johnson (Pete)
The funeral service will be Thursday, April 8th at 7pm in the chapel of Brigman's Funeral Service. Perry Mace and Dewey Bartlett will be conducting the services.
