Clara Mae "Sissy" Balderson, 49, of Warsaw, passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 12, 2008 at her home. Sissy was a member of Rappahannock Baptist Church and worked for Maid To Clean. Sissy was born on Jan. 10, 1959 to Ira Edward and Edna Cora Marks in Tappahannock. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Balderson and a brother, Ira E. Marks. She is survived by two daughters; Christina L. Hinson of Warsaw and Crystal M. Balderson of the home; two grandsons, Michael Lacey Wayne Hinson and Jonathan Keith Hinson; one brother, Henry L. Marks, Lewis, Del.; two sisters, Mary Hamilton of Farnham and Betty Branson of Montross, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held on Monday, Nov. 17, 2008 at Rappahannock Baptist Church, Newland. Pastor Wade Wilkins officiated. Interment followed in the church cemetery. Pallbearers were Mac Sydnor, Mark Sydnor, Matthew Sydnor, Larry Jones, Jesse Jones, Donnie Jones, Robert Allison Jr., and Michael Balderson.
