Rev. Clyde Lefevers, 41, passed away Monday, August 7, 1995 in Harlan County, KY, as the result of a logging accident.
He was born April 12, 1954 in Bell County, as son of the late Charles Reed Lefevers and Mrs. Frankie Johnson Penrod, who survives. He was a minister of the Pentecostal faith, and was a member, deacon, and missionary director of the Harvest Worship Center in Harlan County.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by one son, Michael Caleb Lefevers.
Survivors include his wife, Kathy Lefevers, Kettle Island; his mother, Frankie Johnson Penrod, Winchester, KY; two sons, Joseph Lefevers and Todd Lefevers, both of Kettle Island; two daughters, Hannah Lefevers and Elizabeth Lefevers, both of Kettle Island; three brothers, Bill Lefevers, Lexington, KY, Mike Lefevers, Kettle Island, and Tim Lefevers, Arjay; three sisters, Sharon Shores, Chillhowie, VA, Norma Doenges, Fort Wayne, IN, and Kathy Lawson, Cincinnati, OH; one grandchild; and a host of other friends, relatives and loved ones.
Services were to be at 11 a.m. today at Mill Creek Baptist Church. Burial was in the Lefevers Family Cemetery at Kettle Island.
Visitation is after 4 p.m. today at Mill Creek Baptist Church.
