She attended Peru College and recieved a degree fromt he University of NE. She began teachin at several country schools and in Aug. of 1949 started teaching in Johnson Public School. Taught there until she retired in May of 1974.
She died at the Good Samaritan Home in Auburn, NE. at the age of 97 yars, 3 months and 15 days.
