Robert P. Zeliff Sr., 82, of 712 High Street, died Sunday April 1, 2001 at Harrodsburg Health Care Center.
Born December 21, 1918 in New York, NY, he was the son of the late Clifford and Bertha Hartman Zeliff.
He was a retired employee for Corning Glass and a member of Hopewell Baptist Church.
He was a member of DAV an VFW and served in the army during World War II.
Survivors include: his wife, Mary Hourigan Zeliff, Harrodsburg; two sons, Larry Zeliff, NY, Robert Zeliff Jr., Lonedell, MO; three daughters, Carol Ann Martin, Bradford, PA, Pat Ross, Mercer County, Charlotte Young, Harrodsburg; one step daughter, Janice Byrge, Harrodsburg; one sister, Margie Lampheir, NY; four grandchildren, six step grandchildren, two great grandchildren, three step great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, April 4, at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel, with Rev. John David Lane officiating. Burial was in Spring Hill Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Dustin Young, Scott Ross, Josh Martin, Wesley Martin, Jeremy Fuller and Ronnie Hartman.
