Son of Thomas Edwin and Cornelia Ann Tomlinson Skinner, he was survived by his parents; his fiancee, Wendy Edens; children, Seth Edens, Hailey Edens and Chloe Edens; sister, Mitzi Barnes (William); niece, Sydney Barnes; and nephew, Ryne Barnes. His funeral was held March 25, 2009, with The Rev. Johnny Sullivan and The Rev. Walt Tyndall officiating.
