JIMMY G. ALVAREZ JULY 25, 1932 - MARCH 21, 2010. Jimmy passed away in Valencia, California, with his loved ones by his side, after a long illness. Jimmy was a proud Korean War Veteran and had an accomplished career working for Lockheed Aircraft Corporation for 43 years. He was a longtime Santa Clarita resident and was very involved in coaching his sons and grandsons in Canyon Country Little League. Jimmy is survived by his former wife, Lupe; his children , Kathryn, James, Vincent, Laurence, and their spouses, Joe, Sean, Laura and Michele; and his grandsons, Nicholas, Shaun (Kris), and Kyle. Visitation will be held Thursday, March 25, 2010, 4:00 to 7:00 p.m., at Mission Hills Catholic Mortuary. Mass will be held on Friday, March 26, 2010, 11:00 a.m., at Our Lady of Perpetual Help.
