Durden-Hudson Funeral Directors announces the death of Haleigh Marie Hudson, age 16, of Kite, GA on Thursday, April 1, 2010 from injuries received in an automobile accident.
Funeral services will be Monday, April 5th at 11 AM in the First United Methodist Church.
Interment will be on the Hudson Farm in Kite, GA.
The family will receive friends Sunday, April 4th, at the First United Methodist Church from 6 – 8 PM.
Haleigh was a sophomore at David Emanuel Academy in Stillmore, GA which she attended since kindergarten. She competed this year in State Literary competition after becoming a region finalist in the solo competition and through her years at DEA had served as Homecoming representative. She loved going to the lake, was very creative in jewelry making and loved to read. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, James and Elna Cannon.
