Little Mildred Barnhart Thrown From Wagon and Received Fatal Injuries
Last Saturday morning as Mr. and Mrs. Frank Barnhart were coming into town, near the Smith ranch one of the wheels of the vehicle dropped into a rut throwing Mrs. Barnhart and a little boy and girl out. All were more or less bruised but the little girl Mildred, about five years old, sustained fatal injuries, from the effects of which she died in a few moments. The wagon struck her head, breaking her neck.
The funeral took place Sunday afternoon at 1;30, Rev. Pettibone officiating the funeral being held at the home.
