Mrs. Carol Jean Vanover Amig, 42, of 527 W. Webster Drive, Jeffersonville, IN, formerly of Louisville, died Tuesday [January 15, 1985] at Baptist Hospital Highlands after an illness. She was secretary of the Clark County (IN) Empty Stocking Fund, a volunteer organization that helps needy children at Christmas. Survivors include her husband, W. Eddie Amig Sr.; two sons, W. Eddie Jr. & Christopher M. Amig. both of Jeffersonville; two daughters, Teresa J. & Melissa C. Amig, both of Jeffersonville; two sisters, Mrs. Sue A. Flora and Mrs. Deborah Bandy, both of Valley Station; and two grandchildren. The funeral will be at 11:30 a.m. Friday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 1840 E. Eighth St., Jeffersonville, with burial in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation is at Coots Funeral Home, 120 W. Maple St., Jeffersonville.
