Drilling Firm Owner, 71, Dies
Bert Frost Resident Of Wichita 28 Years
Bert Frost, 71, retired Wichita drilling firm owner, died Tuesday night at his home, 215 N. Terrace Dr. Mr. Frost had been ill for a long time.
A resident of Wichita for 28 years, Mr. Frost had owned and operated Frost Drilling Co. The company's business offices were maintained in Wichita, although the firm's interests extended into Illinois.
Mr. Frost retired 10 years ago. He came to Wichita from Peabody, Kan. He was born Sept. 11, 1885, at Bolivar, N. Y.
He was a member of Plymouth Congregational Church and of the Lawrenceville, Ill., Masonic Lodge, Wichita Consistory and Midian Shrine.
Survivors include his wife. Grace; one daughter, Mrs. Esther Lorraine Beaver, Parker, Ariz.; one brother, Chris, Galva, Kan.; and four grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements will be announced by Gill Mortuary.

On 31 Jan 1912 in Vincennes, Knox County, Indiana Bert married Enola Grace Adams (1888-1963). Bert and Grace would have one child, a daughter Esther Lorraine Frost (1917 - 1982). After Bert passed away, Grace married 2nd, Roy Clark Kinkaid (1883 - 1973).
