Maxine Hamilton, 80, of Terre Haute, IN, died at 4:07 p.m. Thursday, March 11, 2004, in her residence. She worked as a nurse's aid at Union Hospital for 15 years. She was born Oct. 3, 1923, in Terre Haute to George Archer and Linnie Sanders. Survivors include her husband, Dick Hamilton; one son, Jim Hamilton and his wife, Dawn; one daughter,
Cindy Hamilton; two sisters, Mary Vamos and Martha Walker; one sister-in-law, Connie Archer; five grandchildren, Jim Hamilton Jr., Clint Hamilton, Jada McBride and her husband, Corey, Betsy Vermillion and Chandler Craft; great-grandchildren, James Hamilton III, Dalton Hamilton, Tayrn Hamilton, Baily Hamilton, Chase Hamilton, Celsie
McBride and Caitlen McBride; two stepgreat-grandchildren, Casey McBride and Cayle McBride; and several nieces and nephews. Services are 1 p.m. Monday in Mattox-Wood Funeral Home, with Kenny Tilford officiating. Burial is in Roselawn Memorial Park. Visitation is 4 to 8 p.m. today.
