Son of Tom B. Ditto, born Alabama, and Nannie Burford. Married first to Lillie Culberhouse on June 7, 1903 in Montague County, Texas. They had at least seven children, all daughters.

He was a filling station operator, 60 years old, married, and a resident of Dallas, Texas for the past 12 years when he died. Informant was Mrs. Jack Caldwell, Dallas, Texas; burial was October 1, 1941. Suggs Funeral Home, Dallas, Texas, was in charge of arrangements.
