At His Home at Emma
Smalley Sexton, 71, died at his home at Emma October 12, a victim of dropsy.
He was a son of the late Hiram and Jane Gibson Sexton and a member of the Freewill Baptist Church.
Surviving is his widow Mrs. Oma Collins Sexton, and the following sons and daughters: George Sexton, of Emma, E.K. Sexton, of Hite, Mrs. Beulah Goble, of Emma, Mrs. Ellis Swofford, Columbus, O., and Mrs. Alma Goble, of Endicott. Also surviving is one sister, Mrs. Cynthia Sexton, of Banner.
Funeral services were held at the home at 10 a.m., Sunday, the Rev. Isaac Stratton officiating. Burial was made in the Jones cemetery under direction of the Hall Brothers Funeral Home.
