Willard D. Atha, 56, of 646 N. 8th St, Lafayette, died in St. Elizabeth Hospital 10:40 Thursday where he had been hospitalized for three weeks. He was a lifelong resident of Lafayette and had been employed at Alcoa for 33 years. In 1940 he was married to Mary Lou Stouse, formerly of Flora, who survives. Among the other survivors are one daughter, Mrs. Ronnie (Tonda) McClure of Lafayette and one son, Terry E. of St. Louis, Mo.
Funeral services were Monday with the Rev. Marcus T. Lang officiating in the Hippensteel Chapel in Lafayette. Interment
was in Rest Haven Memorial Park.
