Lois Allen, 80, of Baytown, TX was born November 22, 1929 in San Augustine and passed away Friday March 12, 2010 in a local healthcare facility. She was a member of Lakewood Church of Christ and loved to crochet and sew.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Lillie McVay; brother, Aubrey McVay; sister and brothers-in-law, Laverne and Clifton E. Scott and Bob Cox; and sister-in-law, Nelda McVay. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Shirley and Bob King and grandson, Tim King, all of Baytown; sister, Mozelle Cox of Lumberton; brother, Lloyd McVay of Baytown; and numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends.

Her family will receive friends at Navarre Funeral Home Sunday, March 14, 2010 from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. Private graveside services will be held Monday.

In lieu of usual remembrances, contributions may be made to the charity of one�s choice.
