Maxine L. Foulks, 80, of Monticello, died at 12:45am Monday, March 15, 2010 at her residence.

She was born February 21, 1930 in Jasper County to the late Louis and Pearl (Budreau) Bachman.

Her marriage was to L. Dean Foulks August 7, 1948 in Rensselear. He died on August 12, 2009.

A graduate of Monon High School, Maxine was a member of Zion Bethel church. She was known also by the nickname, Sweety Face. Teaching Sunday School in her earlier years, she was a homemaker and co-owner of Foulks Tree Service. Crafts, sewing, camping, spending time with her family, church, and Florida Snowbird friends were some of her favorite pasttimes. She was a true Proverbs 31 woman.

She is survived by a son, John (Shar)Foulks of Manteno, IL; 3 Daughters, Linda (Dan)Leman of Francesville, Martha (Russ)Winger of Wolcott and Diana (Jerry)Batterbee of Cadillac, MI; A sister, Alice Honn of Goodland; 16 grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by Sisters, Doris Turner, Elizabeth Viers, Ruth Norris, and infant sister Betty Bachman; Brothers, Robert, Lawrence, and her twin brother Max Bachman; 2 grandsons, Justin Leman and Jack Poman
