Marion M. Samiljan died at RiverWoods in Exeter.

She was the youngest daughter and the fifth of seven children, of Thomas and Emilia (Chludzenski) Koloski. She resided in Marblehead, Mass., from 1938 until 1994 when she relocated to RiverWoods retirement community.

She is survived by two sons and their wives, and one stepson and his wife. She was Nana to 8 and was Grandma Marion to 8 more beloved grandchildren. She also loved 17 great-grandchildren.

WE REMEMBER: She met her husband, Maurice J. "Monty" Samiljan when her family moved to Lynn, Mass. They married in 1934 and shared a long and devoted life until his passing in 1995.
Her home in Marblehead, first on Sevinor Road and from 1971 on Adams Road, was always the center of the social lives of an extensive and close family and an ever widening circle of friends.

Much of her summer time was spent on the family's cabin cruiser, the Marmon, where her navigating proficiency and sharp eyesight kept the family pointed in the right direction.
She was truly loved by her whole family, and her passing will be mourned by so many who knew her.
