He was born in Wisconsin. He honorably served his country in the U.S. Army & served one tour in Vietnam. He earned service, campaign, & National defense medals, an Army commendation, and was an expert marksman, M-14 & M-16.
He raised a family, established two businesses & was a licensed contractor in the Phoenix area. He most recently resided in Prescott, where he enjoyed devoting his time at the US VET'S Center.
He is survived by his mother (Ursula), son (Mark), daughter (Sandy), two grandaughters (Madison & Stephanie), brother (Brian), sister (Bette) as well as nephews, nieces, cousin and aunt.
Services will be held Thursday, 3-18 @ 8:30 a.m. at La Paz Funeral Home, 935 E Indian School Rd, to be followed by a burial service with Military honors at the VA National Memorial Cemetery at 10:30 a.m.
