Mildred Katherine Lail, 79, of Stafford, passed away Wednesday, March 3, 2010 at her residence, with her family by her side.
Mrs. Lail was born in North Carolina on March 16, 1930 to Willie and Betty Rayfield Carpenter.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Lail was preceded in death by her loving husband Carlos Lail and a brother Paul Carpenter.
She is survived by three daughters, Carolyn Licurgo and husband Bill of Colonial Beach, Va., Rita Duvall of Stafford VA., Shirley Matthews and husband Scott of Woodbridge, Va., and one son, David Wayne Lail and wife Beverly of Manassas, Va. Eight grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Sunday March 7 from 6-9 pm at Mullins &Thompson Funeral Home Stafford chapel, 186 Shelton Shop Road, where a funeral service will be conducted Monday March 8 at noon with interment to follow at Stafford Memorial Garden.
