Chad started wrestling when he was only 5 years old and this helped him become a good wrestler in high school. He went to state as a junior and placed 5t in the 1A/B League. He also qualified for state in his senior year. He helped start the Curlew Little Guys Wrestling program and was a coach for two years.
A 2006 Republic High School graduate, LCPL Olson joined the US Marine Corp that June and went off to boot camp. Chad served in Iraq and was a Crew Chief on a CH-53 helicopter.
LCPL Olson loved to ride his motorbikes and did some racing while in North Carolina for his Crew Chief training. Chad also enjoyed spending time with his family and friends whenever possible.
