She was the daughter of the late Miller Fairchild and Sarah Daniel Fairchild.
Immediate survivors include two daughters, Gustava Wells of Dayton,Ohio,and Mary Fern Lemaster of Washington, D.C.,one brother, John Fairchild of Lavalette, West Virginia and one sister, Emma Murray of Ashland.
Funeral services were conducted by O. I. Williams and Bruce Danielson Friday February 2 at 11:00 a.m. in the Sugar Grove Daniel Cemetery at Sitka under the direction of the Preston Funeral Home.
