"Clara Etta Wasson was born June 7, 1884, at Eversonville, a daughter of Francis Wasson and Mollie (Mills) Wasson. She attended the rural Newton school at Eversonville and was a member of the Eversonville Baptist Church. On June 1, 1898, she was married to William Reed Ewing at Tarkio. Mr. Ewing died Jan. 18, 1938.

Mrs. Ewing is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Faye Malloy of Wheeling and Mrs. Fern Sanders of Childress, Texas; five sons, Rex Ewing, Merle Ewing and Robert Ewing of Chillicothe, Willard Ewing of Whittier, Calif., and John Ewing of Montebello, Calif.; a sister, Mrs. Eva Browning of Chillicothe; 35 grandchildren, 84 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
